The Black Square Problem
In table groups, students looked at six images along with six words: Congested, Tension, Increase, Bold, Playful, Order. Together they decided which image most likely signified each word. Class discussion followed. Word Illustration Each student chose a concept word to portray visually. They could choose from these eight words: Strength, Wisdom, Optimism, Justice, Cooperation, Courage, Responsibility, Friendship. The other students voted on which word they thought was being expressed. The results are on display in the hallway, grouped by the words they chose. |
