First day of art for the new semester!
Students explored a variation of the "Black Square Problem" by determining which arrangement of black squares communicated the following words: Congested, Order, Increase, Bold, Tension, and Playful.
They practiced conveying ideas in a visual way by illustrating these words: Courage, Wisdom, Friendship, Responsibility, Justice, Strength, Optimism, and Cooperation.
The flower below portrays "Courage". It has the courage to be different among all the other flowers which are the same, said the student.
